In the midst of the Gold Coast's booming construction era in the 1970s, Peter Wildman discerned a critical need: a durable, plastic surface-mounted light fitting for high-rise balconies, replacing the corroding metal base fixtures. This vision led to the birth of the Dux Button.

The innovation of injection-moulded plastic brought forth numerous advantages over conventional glass and metal exterior fittings, paving the way for the Robust landscape lighting range. Subsequent advancements in compact fluorescent technology gave rise to our Pavillion Architectural range, meeting the demand for energy-efficient, low-maintenance exterior lighting suited for Australia's coastal environment and lifestyle. Further expansion ensued with sand-cast aluminium and spun metal products, culminating in the convenience of online light purchases.

In 2004, brothers Adam and Matthew Wildman assumed ownership from their parents, upholding the company's unwavering commitment to quality while integrating LED technology. This fusion of extended lamp life and superior materials ensures installation integrity surpasses prior standards.
